Awareness Week 2012
6th – 13th October 2012
This year's Bone Cancer Awareness Week (BCAW) takes place from 6th to 13th October. During the week we are asking our supporters to help us maximise awareness of primary bone cancer and its symptom which can often get mistaken for' growing pains' or 'sports related' injuries.
Raise awareness and funds
As well as raising awareness you can also help generate vital funds during BCAW. This will enable us to carry out more research project to find out more about this devastating cancer in order to improve outcomes for future sufferers. To date BCRT has funded 27 primary bone cancer projects and this wouldn't be possible without your help.
There are lots of ways that you can help to spread the word about BCAW to your friends, family, work colleagues and those you generally socialise with. So be sure to join in and together we can make BCAW a great success.
Don't worry if you're stuck for ideas, we've got a few here that will get you in the right frame of mind and then there'll be no stopping you will there?! ...
